Gambert Shirtmakers, Newark, New Jersey

Gambert Shirtmakers has cut and sewn shirts by hand in Newark, New Jersey since 1933, and is now in its third generation. Modern made-to-measure sizing was refined there by Mel Gambert in the 1960s. Every Wingfield shirt is cut and sewn in that factory.

Wingfield is a brand of Cotswold Industries, a family-owned mill house in its third generation since 1954. Cotswold designs and finishes every Wingfield fabric. Nothing is cut until it is ordered.
