The American Oxford (Supima) is a Supima cotton oxford, made to order in the USA. Inman Mills has been weaving in Inman, South Carolina since 1901, run by the Chapman family the whole time. We went looking for the best American oxford cloth being made, and this is it. Cut and sewn by hand at Gambert Shirtmakers in Newark, New Jersey.
Supima is extra-long staple cotton, and that is what you feel — a smoother surface, more lustre, a finer hand than any upland cotton will give you. Paired with a 12.5/1 filling it stays light at five ounces. This is the oxford for under a jacket.
Choose your details — collar, cuff, front, buttons and monogram — then tell us how to fit you: pick your size, send us your measurements, or mail us the shirt that fits you best and we'll copy it. How we fit you.
